What are QR codes?
QR codes are 2 dimensional bar codes that can be scanned by anyone with a smart phone. Simply use any QR code reader app, most of these are free, and take a photo of the QR code to be brought to a website, an SMS message, phone number or even just simple text.
The web link functions means that the opportunities are endless, you can link to your Facebook like page, twitter page or Newsletter sign up page on your website. One good piece of advice is to make the link relevant to where the user scanned the code. So for instance, if a shopper scans a QR code next to the vegetables in a supermarket and is brought to a web page displaying a recipe for vegetable soup.
