In November 2016, The Printed Image & The Creative Works won the tender for brand development of the “Action Plan for Rural Ireland” for the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. The plan would be launched on January 23rd by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny and Minister Heather Humphreys in Ballymahon, Co. Longford. Included in the tender was the development of an event backdrop, digital screen content, pull-ups, podium stand and a 160 page publication.
Working closely with the Department, TPI created conceptual designs for brand identity that would cross print, digital and online using mood boards, colour schemes, logo concepts and a choice of publication cover and text layout ideas.
A 160 page publication was designed and published in-house. This brochure would prove to be the focal point of the launch day with each attendee receiving a copy on arrival.
The Creative Works team delivered beautifully on the design elements before passing the book over to The Printed Image for print and deliver, all in time for the launch date.
Launched on 23rd of January by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny to national media, the event was well received. In attendance was Derek Moynihan (Head of The Creative Works) and Cathal O’Reilly (The TPI Group Marketing Manager).
