McVities of Pladis Global
McVities, part of the Pladis Global Brands family are an iconic brand in Ireland and the U.K who have been crafting biscuits and cakes for over 180 years.
As their preferred print partner, The Printed Image was tasked by our client to help them with their launch to market of McVitie’s Mini Cheddars. The brief contained many print items; Gifting Boxes Leaflets, Shelf talkers, Stackers, Pallet wraps and a WOW Foyer Display piece.
With supplied artwork and conceptual images supplied by Pluto for the WOW Foyer Display the team got to work to create an easy to build, bespoke Free Standing Display Unit.
The first stage of the project began with our in-house structural engineer as our Client came to us with a concept and creative supplied by Pluto.
The main objective for our in-house structural team was to create a unit that would host the creative supplied by Pluto, a unit that would structurally allow the products to be stored in their SRP’s, that could be assembled easily and allow for in store theatre to draw attention to the launch and boy did they do that!
Our in-house structural engineer developed, designed, and printed these functional Free-Standing Units which are made from FSC approved material allowing our client to demonstrate their commitment to responsible forestry management along with helping them with their launch into the savoury category.
We were delighted to work with our Client on this project, the concept supplied was amazing and thoroughly executed by our in-house structural design team.
The outcome was an easy to assemble, high impact unit that highlighted the brand perfectly. As seen by the photos below the unit’s bold colours along with the centre piece and perfectly advertised graphics gave the unit that high quality finish which can easily stand out from the competition. The size and structural design made it a perfect unit to use for a New Product launch as attracting attention is exactly what it will do.
