Advance Pitstop

Background:

Advance Pitstop have been a loyal customer of TPI’s for several years now. Until recently the majority of their requirements have been primarily print based. Towards the end of last year, they approached us to quote for the rebrand of their 30 outlets nationwide and because of our consistently good service levels, on time delivery and our ability to find a solution to any of the challenges they had put our way, we were successful with our bid.  

Brief:

The rebrand involved a full requisition on all outlets across the country, development of a bespoke sized solution in each case and installation of the entire kit once created. There were a variety of elements required in each location including but not limited to; fully mocked up visuals for each site pre approval, removal of existing signage, creation of brand new individually sized aluminium powdered coated fascia panels and down lighting systems to surround each of the buildings at all locations, application of fret cut lettering onto each of the new fascia panels and either revamping or at times creation of new aluminium roadside totems and external backlit road signs as required.

Execution:

One of the most important features we installed were the large bespoke lightboxes at all outlets with the signature Advance Pitstop branding on it. The requirement for these signs to be interchangeable in nature was a vital part of this job. At times both construction and paint teams were sourced by TPI to build brand new entrance arches around some of the more challenging and existing conservatory style reception areas. Some sites were awaiting planning permission or were undergoing extensive building work commissioned by Advance Pitstop while we were onsite so flexibility and teamwork on all parts was a crucial element to the success of each of these locations.  

All signage throughout had to remain of a consistent RAL colour requirement despite using different print mediums and materials, this was the key element to the uniformity of all locations nationwide. The work had to be completed in a specified time frame so it was necessary for multiple teams to work nationwide simultaneously. The application of more standard elements such as window vinyls, door signs and interchangeable mesh banners systems provided the finishing touches required.

Results:

The transformation of each of the branches nationwide is clearly evidenced in the below before and after imagery. The new look has converted these older tired buildings to new contemporary spaces. It has given standout from their competitors and revitalized their trade.
